development of t-shirt designs

stage one - in this stage I developed a outline of
my design, it was done using a thin liner pen then after
it was scanned into adobe illustrator where I cleaned up any
messy mistakes.

stage two-in stage it was all about
stencilling and adding shade where it needed to
be done. I started to add more detail especially around and inside
the outline.

final stage- this is the final outcome of my design
I am very pleased of the outcome because its how I wanted it to
look from the start maybe even better than I expected.

t-shirt designs / development

these are my designs I created,
as you can see I've used more than one style
for e.g.  I've played around with adding quite bold and
bright colours but then on the other hand I have stuck to
a plain black and white design which gives it more of a
            sleek and smooth look.

clothing tags

clothing tags/ labels

these are my clothing labels
I looked at clothing labels that caught my eye and used
that as my inspiration , clothing brands like sullen and drop dead
were my main inspirations.

I changed around some of the colours on my tags just to see
what it would look like with different colours,
and whilst doing this I
became very fond of some but then in the end I wanted to go for a nice sleek yet eye-catching design so I went with the colour black

logo ideas / development / modifications

This is my initial logo ideas
As shown I have done two very similar
Bears but in very different styles,  one is done in pencil
And is carefully shaded whilst the other has been done
By acrylic paints using a dab method.

these are some of the logo designs I
came up with the inspiration came from my mood
boards and what Denver really consist of and the things that make Denver stand out.
but I narrowed it down to the one that had a catchy symbol that can be used on everything and anything.

mood boards for the logo

Denver landscapes

These mood boards are based
On what Denver has and what it comes with
Within my mood boards I really wanted to capture
Some of Denver's key aspects so I started
With a mood board on animals then the city itself
Then finally the weather it possess.
Each mood board will help me decide on the type
Of logo I want to go for.

label research

stationery set research

clothing logos and designs research
this is the research stage in this stage I found interesting and very eye catching clothing labels , designs , logos and  stationery sets that appeal to my ideal method of design.

one of the biggest inspirations I found was the clothing brand ' rebel eight' and 'sullen', the reason I look up to both brand is because their designs are mainly illustrative.
